There’s Power in the Blood of Jesus

You are uniquely designed. Designed to withstand car accidents, football injuries, skateboard wrecks, painful break-ups, and especially dental visits. You are strong! Your health doesn’t fail because it wants to. It fails because something greater than itself is not ingested daily.

The Blood of Jesus is both literal and figurative in nature. It is multidimensional and yet you and I can have our own experience with the Blood of Jesus daily if we would like. We have a choice to engage with the literal Blood of Jesus by faith. In Luke 22:19-20, Jesus provided us all with the significance of the communion elements during a conversation he had with his Disciples. Have you ever asked, why is bread significant or why is wine significant? I’ve asked. I’ve asked why did Jesus need to give humanity figurative examples to understand the magnitude of his sacrifice? Here is why, they both represent the broken Body of Christ and the new covenant agreement between God and His children. Nothing else written or affirmed has this kind of power. The Blood of Jesus signifies new membership, new agreement, new awareness, new identity, new life, and new eternity. Without the Blood of Jesus, there would be no life in any form of creation. There would only be the eternal promise of death.

During most of my fasts, I take communion daily as a form of receiving supernatural strength and healing. Everyday since August 14, 2016, I’ve taken the communion elements. Each day I take a piece of flat bread and a small cup of grape juice into my body.  I can say, just shy of 14 days with no food, only water I was just as strong as if I had three meals per day with vitamins and daily exercise. As a result, there has been an amazing surge of energy flowing through my being that granted me the level of energy I needed to push through my 24-hour days. It is without question, that the effort I have put forth in the natural has been supernaturally enhanced because of the decision of consuming the communion elements daily. I used wisdom in how to expel what physical energy I had, and have been very intentional to feed my spirit the Word of God daily.

There has never been a moment in my life when I felt God was overwhelming me with too much of himself. In fact, I often tell him I don’t feel close enough and want more of his time. This pleases God. He truly wants time with his children. He wants his children to want to commune with their Heavenly Father and there is no other way to commune with God-The Father than through his Son, Jesus Christ. This is what Jesus was teaching all of us while sitting with his Disciples at what is now known as, The Last Supper. Remembering Jesus through the taking of the communion elements means communing with God the Father. It’s his shed Blood that provides the atonement power over sin, which unlocks the doors between you and The Father. No other avenue, adventure, route, or access point can grant you permission to present yourself blameless before His Majesty. Only the Blood of Christ.

The Blood of Jesus destroys and builds up. It consumes and expels. It speaks and atones for. The weight which it can carry is unbearable and unimaginable to the human thought process. Jesus paid an unbearable cost, for one reason alone. For you and I to always have permission and access to approach The Father. He did it all because he foreknew we wouldn’t be able to. He paid this price so that we would always have an example of what true forgiveness, outward selflessness, and true Love looks like. God created a way for the salvation of humanity to be a tangible reality, not just a figurative conversation.

Unbearable Cost

Salvation has never been a cheap gift. In fact, if you or I never receive another gift in our entire lifetime, we have received a gift that is sufficient and fulfilling. Salvation is a decision, not a choice. Salvation means new oneness with a God that is pure and Holy. He enjoys forgiving others, fellowship over bitterness and isolation. He is good…. actually good is the definition of Him.

Your identity is and always will be at the core, Him. The Blood of Jesus covers you today as it did yesterday and also tomorrow. Your gift of Salvation is neither null-and-void or expired. One day, the gift of Salvation would have run its course and it will be expired. Not today though! Today it is still very much available for you!!

Salvation is YOUR gift. It can’t be given to someone else if it is yours. It can’t be stolen if it is yours. It can simply be rejected, by you because it is yours to refuse. The Blood of Jesus is everywhere. You just don’t see it. You don’t hear it speaking on your behalf in the Courts of Heaven. You don’t feel it when it covers your flesh as the healing agent. The Blood of Jesus is your atonement for the sin you have learned to live so comfortably with.

There is immeasurable Power in the Blood of Jesus. Activate that power today over yourself and everything that pertains to you. Declare you are covered by the Blood of Jesus!

Say this with me, “I am covered by the Blood of the Lamb of God. My organs are saturated by the Blood. My limbs operate in perfection under the Blood. My eyesight is healed by the Blood. My heart is whole because of the Blood. My marriage shall flourish because of the Blood. My business and ministry operates in obedience to the Blood. My spirit, soul and body surrenders to the Power of the Blood of Jesus. I come into agreement with what the Blood of Jesus Christ is speaking on my behalf in Heaven!”

In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents [that is, changes his inner self—his old way of thinking, regrets past sins, lives his life in a way that proves repentance; and seeks God’s purpose for his life].” Luke 15:10
