VENGEANCE

At exactly 3:00 a.m. on November 3, 2016, the Lord woke me with one word ringing through my spirit:

Vengeance !

As I awoke this morning, I have not felt the urge to move from my place of rest. I have laid in my bed trying to dissect the full meaning of that one word. Vengeance is a very powerful word. One that the world typically does not use in casual conversation or on legal platforms unless discussing evil intent. That word is so synonymous with revenge that Hollywood has created tv series behind the premise of that word. But God is not evil nor can he become evil. Here is where the world and God differ with the world vengeance. God gets angry but does not sin.

Then at 8:51 a.m. I received another word from the Lord,

“I want my children to know that as long as they have waited on me to act on their behalf I am coming. As surely as I live says the Lord, I am coming to provide new forms of safety, new ways of elevation and new means by which to feel my comfort. Long gone are the days where my own feel ostracized and neglected, for I am here says the Lord. I will provide you with new ways of thinking and new ways of celebrating my goodness. I am your Avenger says the Lord of Hosts. Do not neglect to stay in my safe place, within me for I am your strong Tower. I will fight for you when everyone else leaves you. I will heal you when everyone else says you are dead. I will cover you when those who I have ordained to protect you leave you uncovered. I will provide for you when everything you have had is taken away. I am your Provider, Healer, Defender, Way-Maker, Counselor, Confidant, Friend and Avenger. This is the way I am making myself known in this day. I am coming to provide assurance to my own and vengeance to the cowardly. Gone are the days where those who bear my name shall shutter and worry, cry and be fearful, worry and lose sleep. No more I say. I am the provider of a peace that humanity cannot buy, create or sell. It is a peace that no man whether wealthy or poor can explain. It is a peace that kings and ambassadors can only dream of obtaining during their tenure. Trust me in this I say, Peace I shall leave you in this hour for your Avenger is near to your heart.”

I feel very strongly in my spirit that this was God’s notice to his children. That He has seen and heard the cries of His children and He is coming with a vengeance towards those who have made themselves your adversary. Those who have positioned you as their enemy when in fact you are not. The enemy himself, Satan is about to see God move in the lives of millions simply because God has said, “I will execute great vengeance on them with wrathful rebukes. Then they will know that I am the Lord, when I lay my vengeance upon them” but he has also said, “Vengeance is mine, and recompense, for the time when their foot shall slip; for the day of their calamity is at hand, and their doom comes swiftly.”

All I have heard in my Spirit this morning while resting and meditating is “Do not worry” and that also translates to “do not be anxious for anything!” The day has begun with a powerful word of encouragement for many and a powerful word of warning for the rest. God is not to be trifled with and He looks after His own. He looks over the lives of his children and keeps them from harm. This word, vengeance is a word I never want to encounter from the living God. He is a great Avenger who never sleeps, does not close His eyes and certainly does not forget the cry of his own.

God is getting a message to His children today and it is this: His vengeance is coming!
