On Day One

I was awakened early (3:00 am) for a time of reflection and devotion this morning. It was during this time that I was asked by the Lord to step out and exude more faith. Faith for the naturally impossible. I thought to myself, “Wait what, am I not living by faith! Where is this coming from Lord?” Has this ever happened to you? The Holy Spirit and I continued to commune when I was asked to trust God’s plans for my life more than my basic understanding. Then He spoke what I will call,  divine revelation which I believe will certainly bless you,

“One’s faith level must be elevated to their place of need. Here is where your faith meets my supply. If your level of faith meets my level of supply in sync with my timing, a supernatural exchange occurs in the cosmos. If your faith level is too minimal, the supplied response has nowhere to connect to on earth and instead, remains suspended in the atmosphere above your faith level. Pulling down one’s response to need is key through faith.”  – Holy Spirit

I completely understood! My faith level while in my mind has been GREAT was nothing in comparison to what has been released. As a result, the answer had been held up in a secure location until my faith increased to meet it head on! At the time I received this word, I was in the process of selling my home in the Metro-Atlanta area. Originally, I had not planned to move but when the Holy Spirit revealed his plans which required the selling of my home I had no other choice but to believe his plans and put my faith to work. So in immediate response to this powerful word, I put action to my faith. I went to my house which I had listed as For-Sale-By-Owner, when I arrived on my front lawn I heard the voice of the Lord say,

“This house is not FOR sale it has already been sold!“

I had to get out of the boat and walk on some water ya’ll. Imagine the logic argument I was having within myself as I stood in front of a home which I still held the keys for, the deed still remained in my name and no final offer had yet been accepted. I had a real heart check the very moment I heard the words “already been sold.” Those words kept swirling round and round in my head like a tornado. He told me that a specific buyer had been selected for this property and there was no need to advertise what was already sold. I got it Lord. I got it…..I now needed to put my faith to the reality that what God ordains in the spirit realm is immediate even if it has not manifested in the natural realm. This requires the human mind to consider the notion that God who created time does not dwell within his own creation but uses it for His glory. God did not need time to teach me a lesson, he used it to confirm the word he already spoke. An exchange happened that day inside of me. I am completely honest when I say, I received a deposit of faith that I had not had prior to stepping onto my property or hearing that one statement, this house is not for sale it has already been sold.

How many of you have already been told, “Don’t ask me to heal you, I already have?” Friends, when our faith elevates to meet the supplied answer of our need we see results which have been dormant in the heavenlies awaiting us. Awaiting US not God, us! God answered my prayers on day one. Let that sink in for a few moments. On day one, I knelt and asked my Father in heaven for a specific buyer for my home, for the sale to happen swiftly, and for me to not have to pay the difference between the sale price and the appraised value. What was I thinking to assume that my heavenly Father would not be faithful on day one? He does not delay unless it is for His glory. Just as in the story of Jesus delaying to visit Lazarus as he was dying. He knew he could arrive on the very day he received word of his terminal illness but Jesus delayed an extra two days to simply reveal the Glory of God and his true identity as God’s only Son. He had a purpose in the delay. Daniel, prayed and fasted for 21 days. The Word explicitly highlights Gabriel, the Arch Angel was sent on day 1 to Daniel even though he did not see the response manifest until the 21st day.

How faithful is our God to whisper such simple truths in the midst of our “waiting on him” as if he doesn’t respond immediately, on day one? God knows how long you have been waiting on an answer to your prayer(s). My faith story may not be your faith story but through sharing my walk of faith, I believe yours will increase in the process. Faith is contagious! Nothing moves him except our faith!  God has never failed me or you. He simply waits on our faith to give him something to work with. After all, Faith is the CURRENCY of heaven. Put your faith to action today and believe that God in Heaven is indeed hearing your heart the moment you connect with his, on day one.
